The use of a property and operation corporation for each real estate leasing property is not very widespread in Switzerland.
In Germany, the tying of a leasing property to a property or ownership corporation is known.
The use of a property and operation corporation is primarily done in Anglo-Saxon regions:
- property corporation (PropCo)
- hold the leasing real estate
- operation corporation (OpCo)
operate and administer the leasing real estate as long as and to the extent that sub-letting, etc. is permitted by the lessor or part of the usage and right to use concept
